Last month we joined up with the South Florida
chapter of Surfrider to learn more about the
organization and the events we can collaborate on to
protect our beaches and ocean.

| Dive Club Event - Epcot's 2007 Dive Quest (Second Trip) |
Our first trip to Epcot's Dive Quest was amazing - between diving with sand tiger sharks, loggerhead turtles, Goliath groupers and interacting with the children looking into the aquarium - we just had to plan a second trip. 
Join us in an amazing diving adventure at Walt Disney World® resort's The Living Seas. The Living Seas pavilion features a six million gallon indoor aquarium with more than 65 species of marine life, including sharks, huge sea turtles, playful eagle rays and schools of colorful tropical fish. With guaranteed calm seas, no current and unlimited visibility, your quest for the dive of a lifetime ends here. Click here to learn more about the pavilion.
Check in will be on Friday, June 22nd, 2007 at 11:30AM at South Beach Divers (departure time of 12 PM). Check in will consist of gathering c-cards and loading into the van. (C-cards will be kept in order to expedite the check in process in Orlando.) We will drive to Orlando (transportation is included but feel free to drive yourself to set your own pace), stopping for a late lunch when we arrive. The guided tour at the pavilion starts at 6:30PM and goes until 9:30PM. After the tour, we will make a night of it in Orlando and will return to South Beach on Saturday afternoon.
All dive gear is provided by Epcot. The only personal gear allowed is your own mask. A videographer will join us and DVD's will be available for $35.
Non-divers are welcome; the entrance fee to Epcot for Florida residents is $65.
If you are interested in joining us, please call 305-531-6110 to RSVP. The cost of the trip is $140 for the diving portion and either $60 for a shared room or $85 for an individual room. Space is limited to 10 and we are filling up, so call us soon.

| Dive Club Event - Sunset Dive & Cruise to Finnegan's on the River |
On May 16th, 2007, the dive club will start the
night off with a one tank sunset dive o n the Big
Com-Ocean
and then head over to Finnegan's on the River for
dinner and drinks.
- Date: May 16th, 2007
- Check in: 5PM
- Boat leaves the dock: 6:30PM
- Return: approximately 11PM
- Cost: $70 with equipment, $50 tank and weights
(dinner and drinks not included)
