The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor in pool or pool like conditions, such as those found at a resort. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and then head off to do two Ocean Dives in pristine Key Largo. We typically see turtles, rays, grouper, lobser, parrotfish, angelfish, jacks, eels and plenty of corals and other beatiful marine creatures.

Your fun packed day will begin at 7.45 am at South Beach Divers. After gearing up we head to the pool to do some basic scuba skills (nothing but fun... we promise).   We will then meet back up with the rest of the group at the shop for a short drive down to Key Largo's John Pennekamp Marine Sanctuary where you will experience the exhilaration of your first ocean dives with a certified South Beach Divers Instructor. We provide the transporation to the pool and dive sites, you just need to get here! Depending on traffic, we usually return to South Beach by 7pm.

If you have someone in your group that would like to join you but not take the class, we also offer snorkeling on the same boat that you will be on.

• Reservations are required.
• You must be able to swimto take this class. There will be no refunds if you unable to swim.
• Discover Scuba Diving form must be completed. If there is a "yes" answer to any of the medical questions you must obtain a physicians approval to take the class.
• Minimum age is 10
• Those under 18 need a parent or guardians approval and signature.

This fun filled day costs $225.00 ($213.75 when booked online) per person, which includes everything you will need for the day.   Private and group rates are also available.   We do not include lunch, however we do stop on the way down to the Keys to give everybody a chance to get food and drinks for the boat trip.
If you decide to take the PADI Open Water Class with us AFTER taking the Discover Scuba Class WITH US, we will give you a $50 discount towards the Open Water Class.
In the event the ocean conditions becomes unsuitable after the pool session has been conducted preventing you from being able to do the open water dives that day and you can not reschedule, you will receive a refund less $50 to cover the pool session.
